Generation Levels
Choose the AI code generation tier that matches your project complexity, quality standards, and budget.
Mindus Forge offers three distinct generation levels — Fast, Pro, and Advanced — each designed to match different development workflows, quality expectations, and budget constraints. This page explains the differences in detail to help you choose the right tier for your project.
Quick Comparison
At a glance, here is how the three levels compare across key dimensions:
Fast
Free- ✓ Basic code generation

- ✓ CI/CD readiness
Level by Level
Fast — Speed First
The Fast level is designed for rapid prototyping, quick experiments, and learning scenarios where speed and simplicity matter more than perfection. It generates clean, functional code with a focus on readability and minimal overhead.
🎯 Best for:
- Quick prototypes and proof-of-concepts
- Learning new languages or frameworks
- Single-file scripts and utilities
- Getting unstuck on small problems
What you get
- Code quality: Clean, readable, and functional — but not optimized for performance or security.
- Structure: Single-file or minimal multi-file responses. No complex folder hierarchies.
- Comments: Light comments to explain logic, but no extensive documentation.
- Tests: No automated tests are generated.
- Security: No security analysis or hardening.
- Speed: Fastest generation time, ideal for iterative development.
Availability: Included in all plans, including Free.
Pro — Quality & Professionalism
The Pro level is the go-to choice for professional developers who need well-structured, tested, and documented code. It balances quality and speed, making it suitable for most production use cases where maintainability matters.
🎯 Best for:
- Production applications and APIs
- Team collaboration and shared codebases
- Projects requiring tests and documentation
- Startups and SMBs building fast
What you get
- Code quality: Optimized, clean, and maintainable. Follows best practices for the target language.
- Structure: Multi-file projects with modular architecture. Includes
/routes,/models,/utilswhere relevant. - Comments: Comprehensive comments explaining each function, class, and module.
- Tests: Unit tests are generated for critical functions and edge cases.
- Documentation: Full README, API documentation, and setup guides included.
- Error handling: Robust error handling with proper logging and user feedback.
- Security: Basic security measures (input validation, escape, authentication patterns).
- Speed: Slightly slower than Fast, but still efficient for most workflows.
Availability: Requires a paid plan (Pro or higher).
Advanced — Production-Grade Excellence
The Advanced level is for teams and enterprises building mission-critical applications that demand the highest standards of quality, security, and scalability. It generates code that is ready for CI/CD, security audits, and large-scale deployments.
🎯 Best for:
- Enterprise applications and microservices
- High-security and compliance-sensitive projects
- Systems requiring high performance and scalability
- Teams adopting Shift-Left security practices
What you get
- Code quality: Production-grade code with advanced patterns (dependency injection, factories, repositories, etc.).
- Structure: Full project structure with clear separation of concerns. Follows industry-standard conventions for the chosen framework.
- Comments: Exhaustive comments, including JSDoc/JavaDoc/Sphinx compatible formats.
- Tests: Complete test suite including unit tests, integration tests, and contract tests.
- Documentation: Comprehensive documentation including README, API reference, deployment guides, and contributing guidelines.
- Error handling: Advanced error handling with retry policies, circuit breakers, and observability hooks.
- Security: Security hardening including input sanitization, rate limiting, authentication/authorization patterns, and dependency vulnerability scanning.
- Performance: Optimized for performance with caching, query optimization, and asynchronous patterns.
- CI/CD: Includes sample GitHub Actions, Dockerfile, and deployment configurations.
- Scalability: Designed with horizontal scaling in mind, with stateless patterns and database connection pooling.
- Speed: Takes longer to generate due to the depth of analysis and output, but delivers the highest quality.
Availability: Requires a paid plan (Advanced or higher).

When to Choose Each Level
Choose Fast when…
- You need a quick answer or boilerplate for a small script.
- You are learning a new programming language or framework.
- You are building a prototype that will not go to production.
- You need to generate a single file or a simple utility.
- You are on a tight budget and do not need advanced features.
Choose Pro when…
- You are building a production application that will be used by real users.
- You need maintainable code that your team can understand and modify.
- You require unit tests to ensure code reliability.
- You want comprehensive documentation to onboard new developers.
- You are working on a project with moderate complexity (CRUD APIs, web apps).
Choose Advanced when…
- You are building a mission-critical system (finance, healthcare, infrastructure).
- Security and compliance are top priorities for your project.
- You need integration tests and CI/CD pipelines out of the box.
- Your application must handle high traffic and scale horizontally.
- You are following Shift-Left security practices and need code that passes security audits.
- You want to reduce the time from development to deployment significantly.
- You are building a microservices architecture or distributed system.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade from Fast to Pro or Advanced?
Yes, absolutely! You can upgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Your existing projects and conversations will remain available.
Do I lose anything if I downgrade?
If you downgrade from Pro or Advanced to Fast, your existing generated code remains accessible. However, new generations will be limited to the Fast tier features. You will keep your Pro/Advanced code but will not be able to generate new code at that level.
Is Advanced worth the extra cost?
If your project is critical, security-sensitive, or needs to scale, Advanced pays for itself through reduced technical debt, fewer bugs, and faster time-to-market. The generated code is designed to pass security audits and be production-ready from day one.
What about enterprise custom requirements?
We offer custom Enterprise plans with tailored generation levels, private model fine-tuning, and dedicated support. Contact us at sales@mindusforge.dev to discuss your needs.
Can I use my own API key with these levels?
Yes! Scale and Enterprise plan users can bring their own API key (e.g., Gemini, OpenAI) and use it with any generation level. This gives you full control over the AI model powering your generations.
